Short Trip to Traditional Japan
A Showcase of Traditional Performing Arts in Haneda!
At Haneda Airport where people of various nationalities come and go, you can enjoy a day full of Japanese traditional performing arts.
On the Edo Butai stage, see and listen to exciting performances of Tsugaru-jamisen, Japanese traditional dance, “Kiyari” (steeplejacks’ and firemen’s traditional work songs), “Rokyoku” (recitation of stories on shamisen), etc.
In Hiro Koji alley and Edo Koji alley, Shinnai ballad singing by strolling musicians and lion dances, will be performed.
Also, the tea ceremony will be performed in a way that allows you to enjoy it informally.
Please enjoy the “Short Trip” to the world of Japanese traditional performing arts.

Please enjoy an authentic tea ceremony with “omaccha” tea. Your questions are welcome. This is a chance for you to learn about the world of Japanese traditional tea.
* The number is limited to twenty people.
Those wishing to participate in the tea ceremony will be given a ticket 30 minutes prior to the ceremony (free).
