"Jupiter" All Together

This one-night-only participatory program will be held on the night of the festival eve. Let’s celebrate the start of LFJ by playing and singing the “Jupiter” together!

・Participative instruments
acoustic instruments (except ones that require power supply or amplifier), singing
* You can join with your own instruments which are not included in the original composition such as saxophones, recorders and melodicas, and sing for “Jupiter” All Together.

How to Take Part

  1. Music scores for the participation segments can be downloaded from the website.
    *Practice the pieces on your own in advance.
    *Be sure to read the “General Comments” section when downloading scores.
  2. Bring your instrument and gather in front of the kiosk stage in the ground-level Plaza by 7:20 PM on Monday, May 2.
  3. Follow the lead of the conductor on the stage and practice.
  4. When the actual performance begins, the entire venue will be united by the flourish of the conductor’s baton!

General Comments

  • In the event of rain, the performance will be cancelled.
  • Participation will be limited to vocal performances and acoustical instruments that do not require power, amps, or the like.
  • Participants are responsible for their own instruments. The organizer will not be held responsible in any way for such things as damaged instruments, lost instruments, or the like.
  • Participants using music score sheets should bring music stands. This will be an outdoor performance, so be sure to also bring clips or the like to keep the sheets in place.
  • Please follow the conductor’s directions. Do not behave or play in a manner (volume or melody-wise) that disrupts the harmony of the performance. If persons behave in such a manner or the organizer decides it will be difficult to carry on, the performance may be cancelled.
  • We predict a large turnout on the day of the event. For your own safety and the safety of others, please follow the directions of the attendants. Depending on circumstances, restrictions may be placed on admissions (some people may be refused entry).
  • Various members of the media will be reporting on the music festival programs, and photos will be taken for the organizer’s records, etc.
