Seeking intern program participants

Genre:
  • Art Project

We’re looking for people interested in taking part in the intern program (Class Term 2)
Art Bridge Institute (ABI) holds events to introduce activities that connect art settings with society, and publishes the institute magazine ART BRIDGE. Through the magazine’s distribution, we also create networks uniting projects, activity bases and people in various locations.
We are seeking interns who will be ABI members developing these projects along with us.
Through ABI’s activities, interns will have opportunities to meet a variety of people engaged in art projects. If you’d like to be involved in art project settings, if you feel an affinity for the work of ABI and wish to join us, we hope to receive your application.

Activities

  1. ABI project operation support
Carrying out support activities for projects such as Bridge Talk and Forum.
  2. ART BRIDGE distribution activities
Conducting field research at ART BRIDGE magazine distribution sites and preparing reports, while making the best use of individual interests and fields of specialization.
  3. Participation in intern activity days
Once a month (generally the 2nd Thursday, starting at 19:30) we hold events such as ART BRIDGE magazine reading/study meetings and gatherings with guests, and study and exchange information in order to deepen our understanding of the role of connecting art and society.
  4. Writing reports
Summarizing activities 1-4 in reports. The written reports will be posted on the official ABI website, and a comprehensive report in the form of a book will be produced at the end of the fiscal year.

*The previous fiscal year also saw gatherings among interns, and projects carried out on a volunteer basis from launch to implementation.
