Hideto Iwai and Mirai Moriyama turn children’s whimsical flashes of inspiration into theater

This project started with Hideki Noda (artistic director at Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre) wondering if it was possible to pool resources with other adult professionals and create a piece of theater from a script written by children. Story workshops will be held with Hideto Iwai to solicit imagination and inspiration from participating children.
Some of the ideas garnered from the workshops will be used as the basis for the production. Dance workshops will be held simultaneously to gain some insights from children’s physicality as well.
