Talents Tokyo 2017 Pre-Event

Genre:
  • Visual Art / Media Art

This year’s Talents Tokyo 2017 will start seeking participants from Monday, May 15.
After undergoing a rigorous selection process, only 15 people will be eligible to enter Talents Tokyo 2017 in November.

A pre-event is being held prior to that, where alumni of Talents Tokyo — this time from Japan in particular — will talk about their experiences.

As well as introducing Talents Tokyo, this event will feature video messages from alumni overseas. In addition, previous entrants the directors Mayu Nakamura and Yusuke Kinoshita as well as producer Hiroyuki Tanimoto, who attended the Berlin International Film Festival trade fair this year under the Talents Tokyo Fellowship Program, will discuss the merits of participating in the Talents Tokyo project.

For people considering entering Talents Tokyo, this event is an excellent and unusual opportunity to get closed-door information about the project, and hear about the experiences of previous participants firsthand.

There will also be plenty of opportunity for Q&As so we hope you will join us.
