The ultimate in traditional performing arts entertainment!
A gathering of geisha from the six Tokyo geisha districts!

Enjoy an entertainment program featuring rakugo (traditional comical storytelling) and Japanese vaudeville, which blossomed in the merchant culture of Edo, plus traditional music and dance by geisha.
In Part 1 “Oedo Vaudeville Show”, we present a varied line-up of magic, manzai stand-up comedic double acts and rakugo.
In Part 2 “Traditional Geisha Dances”, there will be dancing and performances by geisha from Tokyo’s six “hanamachi” (Tokyo Rokkagai) geisha districts of Shinbashi, Akasaka, Asakusa, Kagurazaka, Yoshicho and Mukojima. In addition, apprentice “hangyoku” geisha will give performances of their fresh and simple dance.
Leading the proceedings and doubling the enjoyment will be authority on traditional performing arts, Seiji Kasai.
