A room in the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum is opened to students from elementary to high-school age after school hours on Wednesdays as a base from which to explore Ueno’s museums. It will serve as an art studio/laboratory for participants to consider and experiment based on the interests and questions that arise as they go around Ueno Park. This is a place to create your own “after-school” environment together with art communicators, university and art museum staff, and your fellow participants.
The program will be conducted in Japanese.
15:00~17:15
Students from 1st year of elementary school through 3rd year og high school (up to 40 persons)
Parents/caregivers are asked to accompany 1st and 2nd year elementary students to the museum; the clubroom itself will be “participants only”.
