A last flowering for the Kichijoji Baus Theater, about to close after 30 years in operation, will see artist Yusuke Asai, whose activities have taken him all over Japan, creating pictures on the inner and outer walls of the facility. Taking his inspiration from the theater and its times, Asai will create pictures every day of this event. His colorful work will cover the walls in a fitting tribute to the passing of this Kichijoji institution.
A movie ticket must be purchased at most times to view displays inside the theater, but these displays will be open to the public from Jun 4 (Wed) to Jun 6 (Fri), from 11:00 to 13:00.
