A series of talks in which we consider questions of interest through conversations and the reports offered by guests whose activities grow out of interrelation with people in different places through the various techniques of such activities as film, dance, music, and the plastic arts as well as magazine editing.

Since graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, Masafumi Umetsu has worked as a psychiatric social worker bringing art projects “that allow us to meet the other selves within us” into mental health care facilities. At this event he will talk about how the experiences of patients at psychiatric facilities relate to their artistic activities.
