Part 2. Conversation: Philosophy cafe – What is “creative expression for survival”?

This year’s Tokyo Diversion Research program includes an interactive field research project called “Moyamoya Field Work”. In the “Research” component of the project, participants visit health and welfare facilities and care organizations in Tokyo, and conduct participant observation and interviews. In the “Report and Conversations” component, they present the findings of their research and engage in conversation on a related theme, with the goal of deepening understanding of issues related to diversity and societal boundaries.

A presentation on daily life and creative expression at an orphanage for infants and young children in Tokyo. During the second half of the event, they will join in a philosophy-cafe-style conversation, in which a facilitator will lead the group in a respectful and in-depth exchange of ideas. The event is open to anyone with an interest in the topic.

Enrollment limit: Approx. 20 people (Advance reservation required. Reservations will close when enrollment limit is reached.)
Admission: 500 yen (One assistant admitted free of charge.)
