This fiscal year sees Toshima Art Station Koso, together with artist Tohru Nakazaki, putting part of the Yamadaso, a small apartment building in Kami-Ikebukuro, to use as “Toshima Art Station Y.” From his base here, Nakazaki has selected a larger house in Kami-Ikebukuro 3-chome, the location of Toshima Art Station Y, and its neighboring 4-chome, and started the Kami-Ikebukuro Homes Project, to conduct research and various other large and small projects in the immediate area.

“Practice/Nine Ways to Live in a Big House” is a touring exhibit, part of the Kami-Ikebukuro Homes Project.
