Take a theatrical trip on a tram, broadcast live online

From “Channel Fuku,” where he performed in a cafe in the style of a TV shopping channel, to “Adventure Bingo!!” which took the form of a bingo game in a theatre lobby, Takeshi Fukuda’s projects plunge audiences into unique and humorous settings. This new work is a “radio show” broadcast live from the carriages of the Tokyo Sakura Tram (Toden Arakawa Line). Over the course of around 60 minutes between Waseda and Minowabashi, audiences ride the tram while communicating with Fukuda in character as the host of the radio show. As the scenery and sounds change outside, audiences experience a truly unusual kind of trip. The audio from the performance is also broadcast live online and then archived for subsequent listeners.

Running Time: 60 min. (TBC)
Language: Performed in Japanese (English synopsis available)
