Open Room, an exchange forum for art projects run by human resource development program Tokyo Art Research Lab (TARL)

Based on the theme of “10 years of Tokyo Artpoint Project and the future,” this year we will hold an exhibition documenting 10 years of project activity, as well as talk events with NPOs engaged in art projects, discussions and more. Don’t miss the opportunity to drop in!

What is Tokyo Artpoint Project?
This is an initiative that creates numerous “art points” via art projects undertaken in partnership with NPOs that play a key role in their local communities. Since 2009, 47 organizations have rolled out 38 art projects in total. Our ambition is to create and communicate aspects of Tokyo’s diverse allure, while implementing art projects that connect people, towns, and activities within the metropolis and fit seamlessly into the everyday life of the community, as well as nurturing the NPOs that will lead the projects and putting in place the infrastructure for these activities.
