TOPACO (Tomin Performer’s Corner) Vol.4 will be held at DCM Homac Hachioji Minamino store on Saturday, June 1.
Set in the emerging residential area of a popular new town, citizen performers will showcase their talents in a variety of genres such as kids’ dance and street performance. We will be giving out a limited number of original Tokyo Tokyo FESTIVAL goods on a first-come-first-served basis to visitors on the day. In the run-up to the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games, we will join citizens in ramping up excitement in Tokyo through culture.
We are planning to continue holding the TOPACO initiative. Making use of a variety of venues, we will communicate the culture and appeal of Tokyo through activities in various genres which give citizens a leading role. On the official website we will occasionally accept registration by citizen performers (limited to amateurs) who wish to appear on stage in future.
