Artist Collective Fuchu presents “Sound Cruise” is a radio program by ACF that began on Radio Fuchues 87.4MHz, a community radio station centering around the Fuchu area. We are holding a workshop to find sounds or music to use as a “sound logo”* for the program. Appearing as moderator for the workshop will be garakuta “junk” musician and composer Akiko Shiina. Rattle rattle, clippety clop! What kind of sounds might we find? Together with your voice, the sounds or music we decide on will get some cool editing, and be broadcast in Artist Collective Fuchu presents “Sound Cruise.” Come join us to experience sound recording indoors and outdoors!

*“Sound logo” is a short piece of music representing the program’s image.

Conditions for participation

We’ll be walking around a market so please wear comfortable clothes. Children below elementary school age should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children of high school age or above are welcome to come along by themselves.
