“Yaai(Hey there)! Video letters connecting the island” is a project that developed after the spread of coronavirus made it more difficult to go to and from the island of Kozushima. Messages collected from online conversations with people who used to live on Kozushima such as people who left for work or study purposes were shown to islanders in a screening at “Kuruto,” the hub of art project HAPPY TURN. Since “Kuruto” is currently closed due to the extension of the state of emergency declared by the Japanese government, Vol.3 of the project will be screened online instead. For the first time in the series, people outside of the island will also be able to view the main video. People who are unable to join the online screening will be able to view it as an unlisted video on YouTube. Please tune in.
