Three-day “Journey of seeing” for encountering art and science, and traveling to the past and future

Isamu Noguchi was a leading 20th century sculptor. The movie “Gift of Fire” is a major Japanese-American collaboration looking at the conflict faced by/between scientists at the end of WWII, and a group of young people striving to get through the turbulent times. In this special summer program designed to improve thinking powers and sensitivity, participants take a close look at art and science through an Isamu Noguchi exhibition and the movie, embarking on a journey of imagination to think about the future while engaging in transgenerational dialogue.
