Driftwood and shells that have washed up on the beach; flotsam from somewhere in the world; garden plants, nuts and berries: there is plenty of fascinating material on the island. We are running a workshop for making your own“Kuruto bonsai”with artist Kentaro Onishi, using things collected on the island. The finished bonsai will be displayed at Kuruto. On December 11 the bonsai will be carried through the village in the “Kuruto bonsai-nagashi” event. Come join us!
Age 4 – elementary school students (adults also welcome to participate)
