Targeted at young artists, the START Box project rents out studios utilizing vacant municipal and public housing properties at affordable rates.
On Sunday, June 23, there will be an open studio event at START Box SasaHataHatsu (in Shibuya-ku’s Sasazuka and Hatagaya areas) with artists currently using the facilities. Artists from various genres including painting and photography will open their studio doors, providing a valuable opportunity for direct interaction with members of the public. Please feel free to drop by.
