This project is based at Shioiri Tower, which was built in Shioiri Park (Arakawa City) as part of the project “Tadashi Kawamata: Tokyo in Progress – a View from the Sumida River”, which ran from 2010 through 2013. Inspired by calls from the community to keep the tower in place, the Shioiri Tower Project brings artists together with local residents for a range of programs.
