Older people are turning to theater for self-expression, social participation and health promotion.
They also want to create a bridge to other generations by incorporating messages to the younger generation into their stage productions.
This performance is an ensemble drama looking at human relationships in Tokyo through the depiction of a group of stray cats in Shinjuku.
【NPO Senior Theater Network】
A theater troupe launched in 2009 for people aged over 60 only. The group, which currently has 39 members, mainly performs on stage in Tokyo during spring and tours in the fall.
