Outline

This was a limited screening of three films at The EUGENE Studio; the first showing of short animation “Lyra,” a coproduction with France, as well as two previously released films, “sansui” and “Alter.”
“Lyra,” a short animation co-produced with a French production company, is a story of the love between a parent and child, an attempt to depict the beauty and majesty of outer space as a deep-sea city. For their aim of creating a beautifully-abstracted universal work unbound by time and place, producers selected animation as the means of expression.
