A Masterpiece “Pleiades” left for us by Iannis Xenakis. A magnificent live performance with a total of 18 players, with 6 players on each instrument part (Claviers, Metaux, Peaux). A total of 20+ Pleiades study sessions are in progress for the Tokyo performance through 2020 to 2021 season. After launching Xenakis et le Japon in Tokyo with Pleiades for 18, the project will expand to the world. Xenakis et le Japon received an official invitation to the Greek International Music Festival and will perform at OLYMPOLIS ART PROJECT 2021 in Greece. In 2021-22 seasons we will continue to commemorate 100th anniversary of Xenakis’ birth, the complete live version of Pleiades will be performed in Japan and around the world.

ARTSWORKS was established in year 2000 as a pioneer of NPOs in Japan with the aim of conducting “Performance Projects by Mecena” and “Creating a City by Art”. Since then, we have conducted and supported various arts and culture projects to promote. In 2017, an internationally renown artist Kuniko Kato was appointed as the chief executive & artistic director, under her direction we plan and conduct arts and culture projects with higher public interest, artistry and internationality. Since its inception we have been dedicatedly promoting arts & culture, and this is our unchanged philosophy.
