５th MINATO Bon-Odori Festival
In March and May, we will hold a Bon-Odori Festival in which everyone can dance together regardless of age, nationality or disability to tunes like the “MINATO Bon-Odori song,” the “TOKYO Olympics song at 2020,” the original Bon-Odori song “Fly! To go 2020,” and “TAKANAWA Gateway song.” English interpreting and sign language interpreting available.

The committee engages in a wide range of activities, including visiting local Bon-Odori events and going to practice sessions by community associations, nursery schools, etc.; discovering local songs that are disappearing from the Minato-ku area; and creating new Bon-Odori songs to attract young people. This event is planned and operated as a joint project with Minato-ku.
