Performance group. Formed in 1987 by director Shigeo Makabe. The trilogy of the “Cage” and “Gaze” series, including the flag-raising work “Nocturnal Architecture”, keeps the audience in the “Cage” and the actor keeps staring at the audience’s eyes for about 40 minutes. This made a sensation in the mass media and got attention. The group started overseas performances in 1994 and has been invited to many art festivals in USA, Europe, Asia and Africa since then. Best Work Award at “Cairo International Experimental Theater Festival”.
