Profile

SK project
In 2021 when video streaming gathered steam under the coronavirus pandemic, Satasuke Mochizuki, Katsujirō Kineya and Kosaburō Kineya who studied together at Tokyo University of the Arts began this project as a result of a suggestion by Mochizuki, who wanted to create a record of performances with his friends, although the performances were still young. They produced a video of their performance “the Old Tale of Raccoons” and streamed it on YouTube. The next goal is to plan and hold a concert that can be enjoyed by people familiar with Nagauta as well as those unfamiliar with it. The aim is to eventually make this modest experiment an opportunity for people to enjoy singing, shamisen, and hayashi as a relaxing and enjoyable pastime.
