Mao Sone Quintet
Mao Sone Quintet is a jazz group led by Mao Sone. Mao Sone is a multi-award-winning trumpeter, pianist, and composer based in Tokyo. They started the group to perform in the jazz club in Roppongi in 2019, but soon they had to pause their activity because of COVID-19. This time was the first time they performed their repertoires since then. Each musician is very well-known in the Japanese jazz scene and has developed a strong identity and musical style.
