Outline

“Where is my blue bird?” is an attempt to embody subtleties, nuance, and things that can only be perceived through physical sensation including the five senses. By means of the creative process the work represents rising emotions and sensations through the body, the three-dimensional and the two-dimensional, ultimately expressing the experience in a performance that combines video and physical expression. Aimed at physical empathy with the audience, the work explores tactile sensation and texture conscious physicality, and the methods for expressing it.
