Outline

Since 2015, composer Chiku KOMIYA has been working on “VOX-AUTOPOIESIS,” media performance pieces in which the performer sings a previously unseen automatically generated musical score. In this exhibition, the “VOX-AUTOPOIESIS” series was presented as a video installation. Entitled “Chiku KOMIYA solo exhibition “SEIRÊNES”,” the show featured video works and an installation based on pieces from the “VOX-AUTOPOIESIS” series, including the new work “VOX-VIDEOGENESIS.”
During the exhibition period, actual performances also took place at the venue and online. Presenting the erstwhile concert-format “VOX-AUTOPOIESIS” series in the form of an exhibition took the work in a new direction.
