From December 11-17, 2022 a solo exhibition curated by Taiga OKAMOTO was held featuring material by and about autistic artist Ryusuke SUGA at Cafe HIBINOKURASHI Fujimidai, including reports and drawings habitually made by SUGA, and a video interview with him.
The exhibition was an attempt to read the asymmetrical relationship between supporters and beneficiary as the relationship between curator and artist.
Taiga OKAMOTO
1994 Born in Tokyo, Japan, lives and works in Tokyo.
His work is based on his interest in approaches to ideas and time which subvert stories, meanings, and images. In recent years he has also organized video screenings and group exhibitions.
