Profile

EPOCH MAN
A theatrical project begun in 2013 by actor Michinari Ozawa. In addition to performing, Ozawa himself handles all scriptwriting, direction, art, and planning. One of EPOCH MAN’s characteristics is the way it reveals people’s hearts and minds and its delicate, persistent yet brisk production style. While offering a measured depiction of the obstacles and anguish generated when someone with a problem tries to move forward, its productions provoke audience laughter through uniquely theatrical techniques. Ozawa develops and produces each performance project with the involvement of various friends as well as favorite actors and production crew members he meets along the way.
