[Kizu-Fuka (Wound-Weathering)] is a spatial installation held at Studio Kudoh from May 30th to June 2nd and the related projects/works produced by genshi-tann. It consists of performances, videos, and a series of artworks.
Genshi-tann designed a basement studio as a wound hollowed in the city. The project brought together ideas from several creators, inspired by the concept of “wound” and “weathering,” as well as motifs such as bugs (sometimes interpreted as cells or gathered people), colonies of tiny beings, letters and texts, earth and stars, gazes, dance, etc., many representing memory and fade. Besides creating a space assembled from fragments of each small project, [Wound-Weathering] also included observing visitors entering and leaving the studio, and the installation itself being weathered: taken to pieces once its session ended.

―The Story of Halluciné―
The very name, “genshi-tann”, which means stories of a vision/ hallucination is one of its central concepts. Seeing the world as a tapestry of illusion, genshi-tann peers through its layers of visions, depicts the blend of dreams and reality in a poetic rhythm, and produces theatrical presentation and other forms of creative works.
