Outline

This event was held with a focus on Ko Sahara, the group representative. It was not only to comprehensively review Sahara’s journey but also to provide an opportunity to foresee the future developments of SPAC-E.

Profile

SPAC-E
Formed in 2018, SPAC-E is an ensemble that restructured its organization in 2023. It is based on the group “spac-e,” which focuses on instrumental and electroacoustic sound. The ensemble’s activities center on performing works written for instruments and electroacoustic sounds, as well as reinterpreting acoustic works by incorporating electronic technologies. They aim to design spaces for the performance of instrumental works in a multifaceted manner, thus creating new possibilities for expression.
