Solo exhibition by sculptural artist Yuto Nemoto. “Hito (human)” consists of human figures previously created by the artist along with a selection of new works. The aim of this exhibition is to archive and update works by bringing together human figures he has produced and focused on to date. Nemoto has created a retrogressive exhibition in which works to date form a line through the exhibition which connects the past and the present, and comes full circle. His new human figures are created using new techniques in an attempt to develop a new sculptural expression unbound by existing forms.
