Business Overview

The Kineko International Film Festival is held annually in Futako-Tamagawa, Setagaya-ku, and is Japan's largest children's film festival. As part of children's emotional education, our association was established in 1992 with the cooperation of the Kinder Filmfest Berlin, the children's film section of the Berlin International Film Festival, one of the world's top three film festivals. Since then, the festival has screened carefully selected films from around the world under the theme of "Learning Together with Parents". In 2016, the venue was moved to Futako-Tamagawa, and the film was shown at the main venue, Futako-Tamagawa Rise, and 109 Cinemas Futako-Tamagawa. In addition, the film has been enhanced year by year by holding workshops and street performances in the vicinity of the venue, outdoor screenings along the banks of the Tama River, outdoor events that families can enjoy in Futako-Tamagawa Park, and events to talk while watching the film at cafes and pubs in the Futako-Tamagawa shopping district.
