Business Overview

The project presented a play on the theme of the meaning of human life. The play, which was performed as part of this project, evokes the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic by showing people in the city turning into crocodiles one after another for unknown reasons, but also comically asks the profound problem of "Why do people live?" in a surreal situation by contrasting crocodiles with the way people live. Profile

[Lip no Kai]
A theater group based in Tokyo, Japan that promotes contemporary theater. Established in 2014 as a base to search for playwright and director Taka Yamamoto. Characterized by works in which realistic daily life takes a leap through fantasy. In addition to his performances, he has been making productions while staying in various areas of Japan. Since 2019, he has been creating a play for children called "Kami Oshibai," which is a combination of kamishibai and oshibai. As of 2023, he has performed at more than 20 places throughout Japan, reaching a total of more than 1000 children.
