[Event to be experienced] Nagauta shamisen [Number of times a participant experiences the practical skills (including recitals and rehearsals)] 7 times [Main names of instructors] Toon Kimiko Iwata, Toon Yoshiyasu Akahoshi, Toon Tomohisa Takahashi, etc. [Features of the project] The content of the course is divided according to the ability of the participants, from beginners to experienced, and what they have mastered in the four workshops is presented on the final day. In addition, this time an ensemble will be planned on the stage so that the audience can experience the breathing and pauses unique to Japanese music, which can be performed in an orderly fashion without a conductor. [Efforts for publicity at the time of participant recruitment (contrivance of collaboration, cooperation, network, etc.)] Announcement of participant recruitment will be posted in the publicity of Chiyoda Ward, and recruitment flyers will be placed in public facilities and cultural facilities in Shinjuku Ward and Chiyoda Ward. [General Incorporated Association Nagauta Toon-kai]
The group consists mainly of graduates from the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, and with the aim of reviving and popularizing nagauta widely, it is a performance group that goes beyond the boundaries of each school of nagauta and consists of members of a wide range of ages, and holds not only concerts but also study meetings and lectures, and guides young people and certifies qualifications.
