Business Overview
This project introduced a new rokyoku, "Sakanadehon Chushingura" (The Treasury of Loyal Retainers), a story set 300 years ago in Tokyo during the Edo period. In order to convey the story to a wide range of generations and to beginners in an easy to understand way, a new rokyoku, "Sakanadehon Chushingura" (The Treasury of Loyal Retainers), in which the characters are replaced with sea creatures, was performed. The performer was Taifuku TAMAGAWA. A total of six performances were held over two days, featuring Chushingura characters dressed as clams and squids.
