Business Overview
This is the fourth performance of Amai Yoho, a Tokyo-based artist, and is a theatrical production in which the director, Yuki Mao, uses her own experiences as a model to depict the psychology of "invisible children" suffering from abuse and poverty. The film consists of four parts: “Tin Goldfish ”, a story about a young man with attachment issues who was brought up under abuse and looks back on his past;“ Yasashii Ochiya-san ”, a story about a girl who finds it good to spend her days in a foster family but can't get used to the honesty of foster parents; “MAGICAL ♡GIRL♡APOLOGIES ”, a story about a woman who grew up in a dysfunctional family and got used to looking out for adults; and“ perfect nymphet ”, a video work distributed by a male virtual beauty-butcher. The aim was to raise issues about the negative effects of growing up in dysfunctional families and to create works that would serve as a good luck charm for those affected.
