Business Overview
Rather than looking at an individual based on attributes such as physical characteristics, sexuality, and affiliation, he will send out works that consider how to look beyond attributes. Through "Like a Anna 01 – 03," which features a face-fitting panel in which the audience can hear Anna's voice by overlapping her, and "Paraphrase 03," in which the performer reproduces the interview video of Anna, the audience can listen to Anna's voice as they watch. Each element is a work of art, but the whole hall is an installation work. Profile
[Midori Miyamori]
He is a performance artist who creates works that perform something other than himself. By doing things that the performer does not usually do or say, he meets others through his body and is interested in the change of his body, and his work is based on this process. He has released a performance series "Paraphrase" in which actors continue to imitate recorded videos of interviews, and "Trace a Day" performance, which recreates based on interviews with the daily time schedule of trainee doctors. Recent activities include directing the Roppongi Art Night program touring work "Crazy Clock" (Roppongi, Tokyo, 2023), "Trace a Day vol.01 Trainee Doctor" @SCOOL (Mitaka, Tokyo, 2023), and solo exhibition "(mis)Understand" @BUoY (Kitasenju, Tokyo, 2022).
