Business Overview
This event was held with the aim of passing down classical music and presenting new approaches from various genres of Japanese music. The performers are Kodo ISHIBASHI (shakuhachi), Anna TAKAKUWA (koto), Eika TOSHA (hayashi), Aigoro HANAYAGI (dance), and other young musicians and demonstrators. In this performance, "Shima no Chitose," a koto and shakuhachi duet, and "Izumi," a Japanese dance, "Shizuno no Odamaki," are performed. As a whole, classical music is mainly performed, and "Shima no Chitose" and "Izumi" are performed by combining instruments of the same genre to convey the original beauty of Japanese music and the charm of each instrument. "Shizuno no Odamaki" is classified as a classical piece and consists of nagauta songs, shamisen and hogaku bayashi (Japanese traditional music accompaniment), but he added so and shakuhachi to create a new style with the intention of expanding the possibilities of future hogaku.

Profile
[Yui no Kai]
Established in 2021. This young Japanese music group is made up of students and graduates of the Japanese music department of the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. The group is divided into various genres, such as Japanese dance, Japanese musical accompaniment, koto, and shakuhachi, and aims to spread a wide range of Japanese music. The activities range from workshops with explanations to performances focusing on the classics, and various approaches are used to promote the culture.
