Business Overview

A special event, a performance by the dancer Minami Azu, was held as part of the great retrospective exhibition of the photographer Abe Freindlich (from May 20 to September 17, 2023), which will be held at the non-profit photographic art center Photography Form Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany. Abe Freindrich involuntarily photographed Minami Azu, a Japanese dance dancer, dancing on the New York subway. Then, despite or because of the language barrier, a fruitful collaboration has developed over the years based on the location and concept decided by both artists. This time, as a culmination, they danced the choreography of the photos they had taken so far. The event was organized by Serena, the curator and art director of Photography Form Frankfurt, with local staff in Minami Azu.
