Business Overview

With an omnibus performance featuring young artists from multiple genres, including dance, theater, circus, and music, they plan to create a horizontal connection with contemporary underground culture. The purpose of the "Ishinoura" omnibus performance series is to create a place where non-genre performers can gather and influence each other in order to nurture their artistic qualities. Instead of connecting existing genres, the goal is to redraw the boundaries between genres and create a foundation for original genres. In addition, it aims to attract a wide range of customers with the aim of facilitating the flow of culture and human resources between genres by having audiences of a particular genre interested in other genres.

Profile

[Ishinoura Steering Committee]
This is an organization that manages "Ishinoura," an omnibus performance where performers who work in the gaps between genres gather. Founded in 2020 by circus performer Jin Suzuki and director Yasuko Yamazaki, the group continues to perform irregularly at small theaters in Tokyo, aiming to become a crossroads of Japan's underground performances.
From now on, they plan to expand their activities not only to Tokyo but also to small theaters all over Japan.
