Business Overview

Aiming at the development of percussion quartets, the group will pursue possibilities and raise awareness. This performance is organized around two themes: "Chapter 1: Sound Space for Healing" and "Chapter 2: New Shape of Percussion Quartet". The first chapter focuses on the unexpected "healing" of percussion instruments, and carefully selects three works that feel particularly soothing among the many works. The second chapter proposes a new form of percussion quartet with guests from art, piano and Japanese dance. The event will be presented in an easy-to-understand manner to a wide range of customers, with explanations given through talks and programs, and will convey the appeal of percussion instruments through live performances for one night only.

【PALETTE Percussion Quartet 】
PALETTE Percussion Quartet was formed in 2021 to pursue the possibilities of percussion quartets and to raise awareness. He holds concerts and commissions works to young composers. He is in charge of everything from performance to concert planning and management. The members are Teruki MIYAGAKI, Kaoru TAJIMA, Kotaro KIKUCHI and Mei MURASE (all of them are in the third year of Tokyo University of the Arts).
