Business Overview

A project that delivers beautiful new music that can only be heard at the time and place by an ensemble that overlaps the musicality of two composers, Eiko Suzuki and Takumi Kakimoto, who pursue the appeal of jazz composition. The duo's music was created using a variety of jazz composition techniques, and it was possible to enjoy a fresh, colorful contemporary sound with a full big band composition.

Profile

Suzuki Eiko
Graduated from Musashino College of Music, Department of Piano Studies, and Berklee College of Music, Jazz Composition and Arrangement. He received the Barns And Noble Award and the Akiyoshi Toshiko Award. In 2022, his arrangement for wind orchestra was selected for the 2022 International Jazz Composers' Symposium in the United States. He has worked as an exclusive composer for the symphonic jazz orchestra Wind Roots, and has also performed at the 18 Tokyo Jazz Festival and the Hibiya Music Festival as a member of the duet EIKO+ERIKO. In 2021, he was selected as Taiwan's (Golden Sound Creative Award) BEST ASIAN CREATIVE ARTIST. As a new band EYRIE, she performed in 2021 at FUJIROCK and is a personality of InterFm's music program Early Birds Music.
