The curriculum consists of training to experience all three of Japanese dance, nagauta, and rakugo, a tour to watch a professional performance at a theater, and a course on the theme of art and the physical body. Students can learn the charms and values of traditional performing arts that are difficult to obtain by experiencing only one event. At the final recital, students are divided into dance and nagauta groups, and beginners perform "Sakura Sakura" and experienced performers perform "Kyo no Shiki." Rakugo (kobanashi) is also presented by students playing debayashi. They also wear yukata to the lessons. [Efforts to publicize the recruitment of participants (cooperation, cooperation, network, etc.)] The announcement of the recruitment of participants will be published in the public relations magazine of Shinjuku Ward, and the recruitment flyers will be placed at elementary and junior high schools and cultural facilities in the ward. (As of August 22, 2022) [Measures to enable participants to continue practical experience (other than the subsidized projects) after the completion of the project] If participants wish to deepen the skills they have experienced in a specialized course, they can be introduced to an appropriate instructor according to their individual needs and conditions through an instructor or our association's member professional entertainment organizations.
