Business Overview
The last Olympics were held in 1964, a time when artistic activities such as music, art, literature, film and architecture were active. The 37 th concert showed that the orchestral works of 1964 are a cultural heritage to be handed down to the future. In the 38 th concert, he presented the whole picture of the composer Teizo Matsumura, who wrote the first 'symphony' at that time.

Profile
Akutagawa Yasushi Memorial Orchestra Nipponica
Since its founding in 2002, the orchestra has performed more than 120 Japanese orchestral works, showcasing the achievements of many composers. Commissioned by the Agency for Cultural Affairs and other organizations, we held International Music Festivals in Beijing in 2004, Hanoi in 2007, and Manila in 2013. His CD 'Akutagawa Yasushi: Symphony No. 1, etc.' released in May 2018 was selected as a special edition by professional magazines and the Asahi Shimbun. In June 2016, composer Ichiro NOHIRA was appointed as music advisor.
