FY 2019 Tokyo Tokyo FESTIVAL Grant Term 1

Business Overview

(4) won the 2012 Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award and the 16 Tsuruya Nanboku Drama Award. The playwright himself directed the play for the first time after 10 years since its creation, and created the play with talented actors and actresses with an emphasis on words. This is a uniquely beautiful play in which five men write a monologue while switching roles. Changing roles, or skepticism about personality. Their monologues, which seem to be the bereaved families of the victims, reveal life, death, and the cessation of emotions. A two-hour one-act that vividly questions the present with universal power. Writer/Director: Takeshi Kawamura Music: Eiji Sugiura (SUGIURUMN) Lighting: Tamotsu Harada Sound: Mihoko Fujihira Costume: Kayomi Ito Stage Director: Mikio Ogasawara Performers: Tomohiko Imai Toranosuke Kato, Kakuchi, Ryosuke Ikeoka & Takashi Kobayashi
