Business Overview
Date: Sunday, August 2, 2020 - Friday, June 4, 2021 Venue: Online "Fundamentals Bazaar" In order to deepen the interaction on the day, a total of 11 online seminars "Fundamentals Talk" will be held once a month. Speakers include Yukinobu Toda (mathematics), Hisashi Yamaguchi (philosophy), Hokuto Kazama (neuroscience), Takuya Nakao (art critic/art), Koshi Hashimoto (theoretical physics), Hideo Iwasaki (biology/bioart), Kenta Kodaira (art/hermeneutics), Seppyul Kim (visual anthropology), Maiko Jishi (art), Shinichiro Azuma (history of science), Taketo Yoshida (ecology/limnology), and Kenjiro Okazaki (art artist/criticism). Date: Saturday, June 5, 2021 to 6th (Sun) Venue: National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, 7th floor, Conference Room Jupiter (Odaiba, Tokyo) Over 2 days, 20 scientists and artists gathered mainly through public applications will interact in 4 different ways at a special venue. Part of it, moderated by philosophers, will be streamed live without an audience. Viewers can not only watch, but also participate in the interaction between viewers if they wish. Participants were Mutsuo Ishikawa (Medical Engineering), Tomohiro Ishizu (Neuroaesthetics), Toshiaki Ichinose (Urban Environment), Shuichiro Tomita (Developmental Biology), Kei Nakajima (Geometric Representation Theory), Yasuhiro Hatano (Nonequilibrium Physics), Tomohiro Fujita (Astrophysics), Koreaki Mizumoto (Behavioral Ecology), Taketoshi Minato (Surface Interface Science), Hannes Raebiger (Condensed Matter Physics), Ushio, Azu Kimura, Mayumi Kuronuma, Kenichi Sawasaki, Saki Furuya, Koshi Maekawa, Manami Mizukami, Kazuaki Yamane, Atsushi Yamamoto, and Nerhol. The philosophy participants were Kota Umeda (German philosophy), Shunsuke Kuwabara (aesthetics), Kenta Kodaira (German philosophy), and Rei Nagai (ethics).

[Public Relations Working Group in Cooperation with Adjacent Areas of the Science and Technology Public Relations Study Group]
The Science and Technology Public Relations Study Group was established in 2007. Currently, approximately 200 public relations officers from approximately 130 organizations participate in the group. The group is an independent mutual aid organization that aims to share issues in public relations activities and help each other. The Public Affairs Working Group in Cooperation with Contiguous Territories is one of the working groups in JACST. Practically study public relations work in cooperation with fields that are thought to be adjacent to science, such as art and philosophy.
