Profile

[mizhen]
Kana Fujiwara is the director of an all-female theater creation unit. The members are actresses Sachiko Sato and Fukiko Sato. It features long rhythmic lines called "mizuhen bushi" and unique choreography. In an abstract stage space, with the catchphrase <<Words dance, bodies speak, spaces swell>>, he is working hard to create theatrical works that penetrate and shake the hearts of the audience. Writer and director Fujiwara won the Audience Award at the FFAC Stage Directors Competition in 2015, won the Hokkaido Drama Award for Excellence in 2016, and expanded his activities.
